From a very early age we are taught to love our siblings, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles etc. simply because they are family. It is often explained to us that as family we must accept these people for who and what they are and love them anyway. This is a beautiful lesson not because these people are family, we should love them because they are living beings. At the same time we are taught to be critical of ourselves, it is rationalized that we can become a better person if we keep raising the standards by which we judge ourselves. Now as adults we are often so beaten down by our own thoughts of ourselves that we find it hard to acknowledge our accomplishments, let alone accept a compliment from someone else. How can we change this? Join me at the Learning to Love Yourself workshop and together we will find the truth of our worth through activities and meditation.
Chakra Basics is designed to give you some general knowledge of the seven main energy centers in each of our bodies known as chakras. The chakras are directly related to our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being. In this class you will learn to identify which of your chakras may be out of allignment in your body and what this means for you. More importantly, you will be introduced to the simple things you can do to begin to bring your chakras back into alignment again. This is a fun, informative and interactive class.
Haven’t you said something similar to this amongst your friends at least once? It is usually followed with lots of eye rolling and laughter and too often a feeling of impossibility. But why can’t our busy, hectic lives be peaceful? In this workshop we will use actual examples from our lives and together find the peace in the shared situations. This is not a theory class, but a workshop of practicality. It is my belief that every situation can be walked away from with a peaceful mindset. Like all things it takes an open mind and heart as well as practice to achieve a high level of peace in one’s life. However, I can say with certainty that as you use these practical ideas you will begin to see the peacefulness gliding into your lives. Now don’t you think you are worthy of finding peace in your crazy life?
I am very excited to begin a Book Chats. Periodically we will read a chosen book and get together to uncover the lessons being presented in these books. Through a guided discussion, the group will learn how these ideas can be practically applied to their lives. It is with the incorporation of these ideas and meeting with like minded people, that the participants will feel more love and peace in their hearts and in their lives. The investment varries with the number of sessions the book requires to discuss its content.
This is an interactive workshop. Each participant will have hands on experience working with energy. We will get comfortable first through playing with energy. Once we are at ease with the feel of energy, we will begin to share our with those in the workshop. This can be thought of as a spiritual handshake or hug. There will be a few activities in which different energies will be felt. These are all good and positive energies. The workshop will conclude with a lesson and some hands on experience receiving and sending healing energies. As a mom, wife and friend this has proved to be one of the most treasured things I have learned to do, and I feel both privileged and honored to share this knowledge with you.
